Ft. Stevens, Oregon

Tactical Events & Living History Location
Our group is lucky to have a number of excellent sites in Oregon for our annual events. One of these, Ft. Stevens, is a state park on the coast of the Pacific Ocean. Ft. Stevens is famous in WWII history for being the only place on the continental USA that was attacked by enemy forces. A Japanese submarine surfaced nearby and briefly shelled the fort. Ft. Stevens was active during the Civil War, WWI, and WWII. It is now a nicely preserved state park that allows visitors year-round to walk on and through the numerous gun installations and bunkers.
