Weapons:
(Note: All full-auto weapons MUST be legally owned and registered with the BATF. You will be required to show a copy of your BATF registration.)
A. Mauser Kar-98K rifle:
- Preferred: Original German military issue rifle, with sight hood, cleaning rod and sling.
- Acceptable: Rechambered German military issue rifle, with sight hood, cleaning rod and sling. This assumes that the outward appearance is unchanged. Hungarian, Yugoslavian, etc. if they are externally identical to German military issue rifles except for ordnance markings, national crests, etc. "Russian arsenal rebuilt" German military issue rifles.
- Unacceptable: Converted German military issue rifles, or Mauser style rifles that are not externally identical to the Kar-98K.
- Examples: The Israeli conversion rechambered the 98K to 7.62 NATO, and added finger grooves to the stock. To be acceptable, the stock must be replaced. "Sporterized" or cut-down rifles, even if orignially German military issue, are not authorized. Note: If your rifle is not the standard German 8mm, you will need to find your own source for blank ammunition.
B. MP38/40:
- Recommended: Original MP-38/40 with sling.
- Acceptable: "Tube gun." This is an MP-38 or MP-40 made up of original parts, but with a modern manufactured receiver tube. Blank-fire only replicas if appearance, size, and weight are the same as originals-must be specifically approved.
- Unacceptable: Non-firing replicas. Gas-firing replicas. Any weapons not specifically authorized by the commander.
- Note: MP-38s and MP-40s are normally reserved for officers, NCOs, and squad leaders only.
C. MP-43/MP-44/StG-44:
- Recommended: Original weapon.
- Acceptable: "Tube gun" (if available).
- Unacceptable: Non-firing replicas. Gas-firing replicas. Any weapons not specifically authorized by the commander.
D. G-43/K-43:
- Recommended: Orignal weapon. G-43 is preferred because it can be blank-adapted with the muzzle nut. K-43s must be blank adapted with a threaded barrel or other means that are externally invisible. No clamp-on, or external blank adapters are allowed.
- Acceptable: Original weapon without blank adapter. Non blank-adapted weapons must be cycled by hand, and are therefore less authentic.
- Unacceptable: Non-firing replicas. Gas firing replicas. Any weapon not specifically authorized by the commander.
E. MG-34/MG-42:
- Recommended: Original weapon. Must be blank adapted so that blank adapter is not externally apparent.
- Acceptable: MG-3, or other modern equivilant as long as it is externally identical to the original except for ordnance markings, national crest, etc. Gas-firing replica if used only in a static role (bunker or fighting position) or vehicle mounted. Gas-firing replicas must be properly adjusted so that they do not whistle, pop, or flutter when activated. Gas-firing replicas must be employed realistically.
- Unacceptable: Non-firing replicas. Any weapon not specifically authorized by the commander.
F. Pistols:
- Recommended: Original German military issue pistols, modified and blank adapted to function realistically.
- Acceptable: Original Geman military issue pistols that have not been modified or blank adapted to allow true semi-automatic functioning. Blank fire only replicas if they are the same size, weight and outward appearance as the original. Non-correct features such as orange muzzle caps must be removed. "Captured" pistols are authorized only by specific permission of the commander.
- Unacceptable: Non-firing replicas. "Captured" pistols in unrealistic quantities, or of unbelievable types. Civilian style pistols. Any pistol not specifically authorized by the commander. Note: Pistols are only authorized for officers, NCOs, machine gunners, and vehicle drivers/crews.
